Kuzhippallil... History & Family Branches...


                           The available history of our family Kuzhippallil starts from our great grandfather who came to Kulathoor (Kuzhippallil Tharavad) from Omallur. The family-history details from the elder generation in written form are from 1720 onwards. At that time our great grandfather's three sons settled at
1.  Kuzhippallil, 2.  Myledath and 3.  Mappur. (Details about daughters are not available.)

                       Elder brother among the three stayed at  Kuzhippallil (1760s) had two sons and two daughters.  The first one settled at
1.  Thannimoottil Kuzhippallil (1790s)  &  the second son setteled at
2.  Kuzhippallil (1800s)

The elder daughter got married to the Manimala Pygottu Tharavad and second daughter to Edathwa Kalluppurakkal.

5. Muthalakkavil


Generation V :

                                More detailed history available from 1840's. So we have to start further with our great grandfather - (second son of thannimoottil Thoma) - Kuzhippallil Kuruvila (1846-1934), who married to Annamma Adipuzha (D/o Adipuzha Mathachan). They had two sons and three daughters. They are

1. Thomas Makkanal - Kuzhippallil (1876-1962)
2. Joseph Kuzhippallil (1878-1959).

3. Elder daughter got married to Kottangal Thottathil, 4.second daughter to Madappattu and third to 5.Pazherikkal.

        Elder son Thomas kuzhippallil Makkanal stayed at Makkanal -Kulathoor, had 3 sons and 3 daughters: They were
1. Chacko Kuzhippallil ( Vallithode -Iritty -Malabar)
2. Joseph Kuzhippallil ( Madathil-Vilamana -Malabar )
3. Thomas Kuzhippallil ( Makkanal -Kulathoor- Travancore)
4. Aely Mukkattu Vaypore
5. Mariya Cheruvalli - Kochi
6. Anna Edamuriyil Chambakkara
 After marriage Chacko Kuzhippallil and Joseph Kuzhippallil migrated to Malabar.  All other families continued the home land (Kulathoor - Vaypore - Manimala area) only.

2.Joseph Kuzhippallil (1878-1959):

        Second son Joseph Kuzhippallil (s/o Kuaruvila Kuzhippallil ) stayed at tharavadu house, got 3 sons and 5 daughters.They were
